Archaeology, Visual Technology

Description

In their coauthored "Visualising Archaeologies: A Manifesto," Andrew Cochrane and Ian Russell develop a method for transcending the linguistic and cultural barriers inherent to current practices of archaeology by embracing the visual. Not quite media archaeology, but not quite traditional archaeology, "Visualising Archaeologies: A Manifesto" is perhaps best understood as a bridge between a traditional and an emerging discipline.
